Inspired by bees and beehives, I created these hexagon shaped honeycomb, which are freestanding pieces, out of cast glass, frits and powders. Using individual moulds I slumped the glass over in the kiln achieving a realistic beehive pattern. The bees are lampworked and uv attached onto clear string.
