My fascination with glass work started as a young girl visiting Malta, where I’d watch demonstrations of people blowing functional ware. This experience sparked a deep interest that led me to explore different glass techniques, such as kiln casting and Pate de Verre. The body of work I’ve recently created centres around my heritage and explores Islamic patterns. By delving into geometry and arabesque styles, I’ve developed motifs and archway-inspired designs that reflect both tradition and personal expression. Glass has become a medium through which I connect with my roots, and I’m excited to share this evolving journey through my work.
